An Easter Story Part 1

Hi everyone, Vivienne here.

I thought you all might enjoy seeing some pics of our Easter celebrations here in Pleasant Valley, especially those here at 1211 Winter Lane.

My best friend Saige and my neighbor Jenna were over before daybreak, helping me finish my chocolate bunnies.

Saige took over the egg decorating.

I was nervous because I hadn't even had time to do my hair yet, but I had to stand over the stove and melt the chocolate for the bunnies.

But finally, everything was finished!

"I guess we should put the finished eggs into the basket," Saige said.

"Yeah!" I reached across the table to give Jenna a high five. "Then the Easter Bunny can hide them while we're at lunch!"

"Saige, you did a great job decorating the eggs," said Jenna.

"Thanks!" Saige smiled. "I enjoy doing anything artistic."

Finally, the eggs were in the basket, and we left for lunch.

Meanwhile, in the parlor, the historical girls time traveled to gather for an Easter tea. I figure they used something like this:

Maybe one of them has a sonic screwdriver or something, too. I suspect Addy. Anyway.

They had tons of treats set up in there. Felicity was a little disappointed about the lack of a chocolate set, but her tea lessons came in handy. She poured!

Josefina arrived in her mother's special shawl, and Marie-Grace brought her doll.

"I'll take cream and two lumps of sugar, please," said Addy. I think Henri the pug took a special liking to her.

"Everything looks delicious!" Addy took a cup and saucer. "I hardly know what to try first!"

"Thank you for minding my doll while I stepped away," Marie-Grace said to Josefina. "May I offer you a cupcake?"

Stay tuned for part two!
